History

  • Construction began on April 19, 2008 and was completed on March 18, 2010.
  • From February 14 to 21, 2010, Universal Studios Singapore celebrated the Lunar New Year ahead of the rest of the year, from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm every evening.
  • On March 5, 2010, the park gates were opened at 8:28 pm, announcing the March 2010 partial opening of the park.
  • On March 13, 2010, Resorts World Sentosa employees and their families were given the opportunity to visit the park prior to the official opening.
  • From March 18, 2010 to October 26, 2010, the park was partially opened.
  • The Grand Opening Gala was held on the evening of May 27, 2011, and on May 28, 2011, the park was officially opened. The opening ceremony featured Asian superstars Jet Li, Maggie Cheung, Zhao Wei, former “American Idol” judge Paula Abaddoo and about 1,600 guests.
  • In October 2011, Universal Studios Singapore began hosting Halloween Horror Nights.

Refund Rules

  1. Refund application period
    • Visitors are required to submit a refund application 5 working days in advance of the designated park day. Refunds cannot be made after the deadline.
  2. Refund Fee
    • 10% of the ticket price will be charged as a handling fee for refunds made more than 5 days before the park day.
    • Refunds made between 1 and 5 days prior to the park day will be charged at 20% of the ticket price.
    • No refunds will be issued on or after the day of the tour.
  3. Ticket Refund Conditions
    • Tickets must be in unused condition and only valid tickets purchased through our ticketing channels.

    • Due to force majeure (such as statistical weather, natural disasters, etc.), the park is closed, and visitors choose to change
